That's not what Yuusei's character is like?
Well that's too bad, because this is Mockingbird AU!Yuusei.

The AU, in short: after the events of 5Ds end, Team Ragnarok opens a restaurant (named The Mockingbird) to secretly serve human meat to people. They need to be able to obtain human flesh because their gods demand sacrifices. In the form of their devotees eating human flesh.
Kind of inconvenient actually.
Conveniently enough, though, Yuusei's god (the Crimson Dragon) also needs him to eat people, so this restaurant existing is actually a life-saver, considering that Yuusei happens to have been starving himself for literal months so he doesn't have to kill people. He ends up killing people anyway. Eventually.

Mockingbird!Yuusei is kind of an asshole. He sasses people and makes cannibal puns all the time, and he probably wants to eat just about everyone he comes across. He tried to eat Crow's ear once. He actually ate Jack's ear once.
He had to promise not to do that anymore.
He tends to be pretty blunt overall, usually not hesitating to tell someone what he thinks of them (and especially what he thinks they might taste like). Even so, he's not too particularly serious, and once you get to know him - and can be sure that he won't try to eat you - he can actually be pretty fun company.

Yuusei hooks up with Harald at some point, falling in love over their similar culinary tastes. That is to say, they both love eating people. Their relationship turns out to be surprisingly intimate.

Even though there are six signers serving the Crimson Dragon, Ruka and Rua are out of the picture entirely, Jack physically can't eat people, Aki only eats people sometimes, and Crow drinks blood. Crow can sustain himself just fine, but Yuusei has to effectively eat for a total of five people in order to sate CD. It's a pain in the ass, and a lot of times it hurts him, but he can manage. Barely.
CD gives Yuusei certain powers in exchange for such loyal service, though, mainly including regeneration of wounds and resistance to diseases. Yuusei can also "summon" CD's teeth at relative will, although summon is being used a bit loosely. The power allows for Yuusei's teeth to become bigger and sharper than they were to begin with (which, by the way, Yuusei's teeth are already like fangs as it is; they're huge), and he's capable of biting through just about anything. He still has his normal limits as to what he can actually eat and digest, but he can slice through materials with a hardness of metal with his jaws if he so chooses. He's also capable of easily grinding up bone, allowing for him to consume the hands and feet of the people that are killed for the restaurant, which is a good thing considering Harald isn't really capable of doing that.

Bruno comes back at some point and kind of just lives in Yuusei's garage. They work on mechanical stuff sometimes. Bruno teases Yuusei about being a cannibal. Yuusei is annoyed.

Oh yeah Yuusei fixed up PseudoJack. His name is Daniel now. He's everyone's mom.
